GT# Recall

Race Car
Whats the procedure for a TSB? I don't think it's a recall or that they even notify the owner. The last one on reprograming the DME included my car and I was never notified. I saw the post on this board and called the dealer.Whats the deal!!! carl

My car was also in the DME group and I didn't receive anything either. First time I called the dealer they didn't know anything about it. Comforting isn't it? And IF my car is affected with this damned thing, I'm going to let them R&R the engine and start ripping it apart... , yeah right...

I'm surprised they aren't doing this as a recall, since if the valve springs break, it's going to be a much more expensive fix than if they just go ahead and replace them now. Perhaps they want to the dealers to make the contact with the customer but that seems like leaving a lot to chance.

No news good news?? Haven't heard anything but admit I don't want to call the dealer I got the car from because if it is affected, I have no idea what I'll do
