Default Those Who Have Kinesis Wheels...

Bob? Rockit? I think you guys have the K58. You probably know the widths (stock?), but do you also know the offsets of your wheels?

I believe they off by 1mm in the front and 2mm in the back from the specs of the stock wheels if my mind serves me correctly.

I can't remember the offset - I bought them 4 years ago for my old 996 - I use a 15mm spacer with them and they fit pretty well. I'll probably get them rebuilt at some point but they are working fine for the tires I have now. Chris is right though - they get pretty close - I called Kinesis to check before I decided to just use the spacers for now.

The offset of the wheels we offer for the GT3 is +41 front and +65 rear. The difference to stock in inches is 1/32 of an inch in the front and 1/16 of an inch in the rear.

I noticed on my GT3 wheels, the offset are marked 45 front and 63 rear...is it possible that Porsche had 2 different front offsets?

No, you should take another look. The GT3 front wheel is only available in two sizes:

8" x 18" - ET50 - Installed on C4S & Turbo
8.5" x 18" - ET40 - Installed on GT3/GT2

No, 1 mm further in at the front and 2 mm further in at the rear.

Alan Baylis,

Do you have a light weight wheel for track use?

All of Alan's forged 3-piece wheels are lightweight and suitable for track use.

Very light and strong -- saved 23 lbs of unsprung weight compared to the stock wheels....
