The car is well represented by the listing - it has crazy maintenance and looks like it has less than half it's 40k miles. Great car but the color is not for me.

The experience reminded me that I really want Speed Yellow, Carrara White or Guards Red.

Good luck in your continued search. Can't beat a Guards Red 996.2 GT3

Well, you could if you had two.

Have any more pictures of that car? It's stunning!

Your car looks amazing with the RS wing and mirrors.

I recently installed Rennline CF mirrors, but I think the wing really balances it out. That will have to be a future project for me, although.

Thanks. They were installed on the car when I bought it. Very fortunate.

I've also just added the 8 degree RS wing riser. Looks great.

I've looked into those Rennline CF Mirrors and I must say, the quality on those appears far better than what is on my car. I do not know if my mirror housings are genuine RS - only the outer portion is carbon, the inner bit (where the glass goes) is just black.

I think I'll order the Rennline ones - it never ends! haha

Mine seem like good quality. I can't find fault with anything. I like them.

best cars ever… you will not be dissappointed. As stated above, dont be afraid of higher mileage, and even cars with “incidents” as long as they’ve been properly fixed. Its actually liberating to drive a car with a carfax, then you can drive with impunity and without worry, not to mention a lower entry price point.

Holy crap Martin I love that color combo. Don't see many seal grey 996 gt3's! And with the natural brown interior as well! I also echo your sentiments regarding mileage and properly repaired "incidents." One reason I love my car so much is because its accident (non salvage) history and mileage meant I could modify it, drive it, and otherwise enjoy it without concern for impacting its future collectability!

tell me about your rear bumper? It is the stock bumper with the side cut-outs filled in and a center cut out installed? Much cleaner look than my cup bumper which does not extend downward nearly as much and therefore leaves much more of the exhaust hardware exposed.

Thanks Scott. The car came with that bumper when i got it, so no idea what kind it is. I assumed it was from the Cupcar.

Whatever it is, it looks great. Someone spent some time paying attention to details because the cutout for the rear tips really hugs the tips. The 996 cup bumpers don't feature that close alignment at all.

Does not look like the factory dual outlet bumper, based purely on the license plate cutout. Unless someone did a really clean job cleaning up the bumperette covers...

bear in mind, I am also running 991 tips... which are larger and fill up the gaps better than the 997 tips.

Most likely is a Getty or Mashaw fiberglass bumper. The lip in the cup bumpers is higher and u see the exhuast. Just do a google search and u will be able to identify it.
