Wow matt! GLWS! Interested in which one "feels" faster between your 996-2 and your 7.2 gt3 rs and former 2018 gt3. I'm tempted by one of these gt2's...997 gt2's are already super expensive but these 996 cars are just as rare and have yet to see the market price bump they deserve (imho).

The GT2 certainly “feels” faster because the powerband is much less linear. When those turbos hit, hang on. The biggest thing for me is the 997 is much more compliant and less “crunchy” to drive. So all around the 997 is more to my liking. I haven’t driven a 997 GT2, but I’m guessing that would be the best of both worlds. A 991 is just a whole different ball game, much larger, easy clutch, 4 wheel steering, and you really can’t find the limit. That ultimately was why I sold it, unless you track its kinda boring to drive on the road. Great car, just too great.
Thanks! I have a buddy in the market and he was interested in your car potentially, but I see it is already pending! That didn't take long! I hope you don't miss it too much!
really cheap, probably because #1 it's a Quebec car, #2 "The Carfax report lists an accident in January 2005 resulting in disabling damage to the front of the car, and the vehicle was towed as a result. The seller attributes the accident to an incident at a carwash and notes that the front bumper cover was repaired and refinished as a result." ...probably a bit more than a carwash..lol

Quebec cars that bad? Like NJ cars here in the states?
the worst, poor conditions and drivers...and they did/used to title-wash cars..many salvage title cars went in and left as 'clean'...we from 'next door' avoid their cars like the plague
I have a Euro specs 2001 Biarritz White gt2 that I’m considering selling and having a hard time deciding if I should or what price to put on it.
Full context: I have a PTS Blossom Yellow 996 turbo that is a GT2 tribute car that is probably 80-90% of the experience of the GT2 at a fraction of the cost. I also would be selling to pursue a real estate adventure.
THIS IS NOT THE ONE THAT WAS IN CANADA LAST YEAR.
31k miles
PCCB car
Euro buckets (factory)
color matched wheels (factory)
all original paint
major service just completed
beautiful cars you have. curious, did you import the GT2 from japan? apologize if this question redirects the thread in a different direction, but is importing a vehicle a PITA? I wonder why people don't do this more, especially for these older cars. Feels like just slim pickins now for any of these 6GT2 and 3s here in the US.

Yes I bought this car out of Japan almost two years ago and it took about 11 months to actually put my hands on it is a very long and expensive process. This car is federalized with NHTSA,EPA with all supporting docs and has a title.
