Price was about 30K more than the 25K mile silver 02 I bought .
Who would spend 30K more on a car with a weird color and only a few miles less.....right ?
DOH !

I hear you completely, was really hard to pay the premium at the time. These cars have been on some rollercoaster pricing wise. Who knew the future generations would be so much more detached from the raw analogue feeling so retrospect is always so much easier. I was in the same boat as you I did decide to shell out the premium but was a very hard decision.

134k. good deal for someone! color combo was killer, some cosmetic issues, 25k in recent maintenance, federalized euro car.

Quite a few for sale right now, the '05 just posted is cream of the crop IMO. Good price too.
- Yellow Euro spec east coast of FL
- White one in Canada 55k mi at Porsche dealer in Calgary
- Red Gintani one mentioned in this thread about to end on carsandbids
- Auto trader showing 5 ( including the beautiful basalt black one just posted here )
I count 8 for sale right now

Add 1 more, was sold on BaT back in 10/21 for $176k and now for sale again by same dealer for $244k.

Am surprised a dealer hasn't snatched up the '05 yet and marked it up $20k-$30k ....

just my opinion, but overall market for used high-dollar exotics/sports cars is softening. Stuff is selling for cheaper than 6 months ago for sure. A seller I guess you need to find someone willing to drop six figures in cash on a car from the early 2000's, or be willing to pay 10% car loan interest rate!
The white Canadian car seems like a great deal and I wish someone would buy it so I'm no longer tempted. 150(ish) for a white car with driver miles seems like a good deal (even without oem seats).

Silver super clean gt2 just sold on BAT for 192k. Saw it in person at a cars and coffee last week and it was a stunner. Not surprised it fetched a strong price (the 911r "gravitas" and presentation didn't hurt either).

illgt2’s former car. I like it a lot and it’s done right, but has an accident and paint work and didn’t meet reserve a While back on bat (high bid less than 140k iirc). So that price may be a bit optimistic given slightly cooling market for 20 year old sports cars (but I have heard that the car absolutely rips!)
