They sure are picking up the numbers on the GT3- my month last October only had 30- now 3X that! Wonder how close to 750 they'll get??

At that rate, they should almost hit their target when build dates end in july..

441 + 270 = 711 if they do 90/month for May, June and July

...and thats not taking into account the numbers for Canada. The 750 figure was for both U.S. plus Canadian sales.

I am curious to know why the sales volume is "U" shaped. 59 & 89 in July and August falling to 18 in January and then rebounding to 90+ in April. Could sales be that directly correlated with temperature? If so June and July will be "hot" months.

jax: The large delivery number for July was due to cars being bottlenecked in port waiting for the revised engine managment software to be loaded so the EPA would release the cars. August may have been a busy month due to that as well as Porsche trying to deliver the initial car to most dealers. The reduced numbers after that is likely due to race car and GT3 RS street car production.

rockitman,

If you're saying that GT3 builds will continue through July... then July builds wouldn't typically appear as a US dealer "sale" until August or even September (figuring an average of about 45 days from "production complete" in Stuttgart to the US owner picking it up at his/her dealer). That would mean there could be 4 to 5 months more sales -- not just 3, right?

Of the 441 here already, I wonder how many are Rennlister's? Any way of finding out?
