Default Ruf Gt3

Latest Road & Track has pictures of RUF's version of the GT3. Ducktail spoiler, 330 lbs. lighter and a few more horsepower. Looks like a GT2 short hood/bumper. Beautiful (imo) Mexico blue collar. Also has riveted flairs in front and rear. I think the car is very well done but then it is a RUF...

IMHO, that car needs a red stripe between the tail lights.

I really really like that duck tail spoiler.
Does anyone know if it gives the same or similar amount of downforce as the stock one?

I'm thinking about buying one (the spolier only) that is if they sell it as a separate piece.

Thanks

Great car!
but nothing can touch the 89/90 Yellowbird CTR

It is the most raw of raw beasts on the road!
One day I will have one!

Ducktail can't add downforce - only reduce lift (which is an important thing). I'd guess it's pretty effective at doing that since RUF used it but they probably recommend adding the wing on for serious track usage.

Wow! I really like the ducktail on the GT3 - perfect homage to the Carrera RS. Hopefully someone at Porsche is taking notes.

very nice, but i wis they didn't go with a turbo type themed front end, they should have gotten more creative and worked with the beautiful GT3 front end, its a shame. otherwise, very nice. The color isn't my cup of tea, but that is not a big deal.
