Default Finally pulled the trigger. New to me 996 GT3

After over 1 year of looking I finally took the leap and joined the 996 GT3 club!

2004, Silver/black, 35k miles. Looks relatively stock but is hiding tons of great mods (GT3 Euro Seats, Tequipment rollbar, Guards LSD, 4.0 R&P, GT3RS Flywheel/Clutch, Solid engine, trans mounts, pinned coolant lines, various suspension upgrades,......etc). Ever since I sold my E46 M3 race car last year I have been looking for something I could drive to the track, lap hard, and drive home, and this car is perfectly setup for that.

Big thanks to Carl in Denver for making the transaction smooth and easy, and answering my hundreds of questions!

Congratulations and welcome. It sounds like the previous owner did a lot of really nice mods. Have you driven one on the track yet? It will blow your mind. But the dynamics are different, so work up to it.

Excellent I just bought nearly the exact same car, same color, same clutch and LSD upgrade, etc. Similar mileage. Congrats!

I have. Very different than the E46 M3. I do have many hours racing vintage Porsches, so the concepts are familiar though.

There is nothing like it from a standpoint of feeling through your hands and butt. Stay ahead of it, enjoy the connection, savor the experience.
