Very interesting! I was always under the impression that the GT3 made less torque in "city speeds" but has more power up top (where its needed) for the track? Basically the non GT cars felt faster off the track because they made more torque? I could be mistaken.

I guess its a matter of feel.

My C4S had everything done to it. My GT3 has everything done to it. The upgrade lists are pretty much a wash.

With the 3.6 in the 4S, all things being similar, I stalled the LWFW regularly especially in reverse. The car was impossible in Seattle hills in traffic.

With the Mezger I have yet to stall it, ever, with the RS LWFW after my first 2000 miles. You can even take off in 2nd and I don't even think about hills or traffic.

I have yet to take the GT3 to the track - soon enough - but it absolutely feels as though it has more torque and is insane up top in the band. The Manthey Cup exhaust is absolutely monstrous and I love it.

New shift **** looks great. What a comprehensive overhaul you've done. Will be keeping an eye on how this comes together.

Did the story end here? How did it do on track? I finished the C4S build as I'm about to pick one up and then got sucked into this one. Just when it got good, the story went cold.

Awesome. I'm also a lifelong BMW guy(currently in a built S54 wagon) buy am about to pick up an 03 C4S, one owner, 67k miles. Your old build will be the muse for mine if all goes well.

Right on! We gave it another 5hp because of the tri tip, glad it worked out.

The suspense is killing me - what kind of HP / TQ numbers did you see after the tune?

Thanks

Our ships must have passed in the night. I'm selling a GT3 that is both gorgeous and has $80K worth of ALL the best track mods.

I'm happy to advise what upgrade impacted car control, lap times, as well as fun factor, recommended order of mods, etc.
Best wishes, Jay
