Default Traded in my beloved C4S

I traded in my beloved C4S for a new Porsche. If anyone is interested in an excellently track prepped one owner (me) 2002 C4S, you can PM me for details. I would hate to think that the car will go to some schmuck who doesn't know what he/she is getting.

Fingers crossed!!

The C4S has proven one big point to me. Porsche cars are not just "sports cars". They are bred and built for the track. Bulletproof and high performance. The 991 GT3RS is a little out of my reach, so going for the penultimate track car, the 991.2 GT3.

Good luck on the allocation. You've put in the time to deserve one.

Its a Porsche sports exhaust open all the time mated to Fabspeed 200 cell sport cats. I don't own the car anymore, I traded it in, so I don't want to come across as a sales pitch for the dealer. I won't make any more money from it. OTOH, I want the car to be bought by someone who will appreciate it as much as I did. Lots of time, thought and money went into making this a track prepped C4S, best appreciated by track rats. It's now owned by a dealer in NE Ohio. If you're still interested, pm me, and I'll give you the details.

Congrats. Just reading an Excellence article of the 991.2 GT3, what a beast! Hope you'll share some videos when you have your new Porsche GT3.

BTW, I'm selling off my extra wheels. These are the lightweight hollow spoke wheels that came off a 2003 996 Twin Turbo. They include the extra wide rear wheels, 11" wide, that go with the wide body. They come with the Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2. https://rennlist.com/forums/parts-ma...and-tires.html

Why not disclose what dealer has the car?

It's not a secret, I just don't want this to be a commercial post. PM me and I'll give you all the details.

A set of cats no qualifies a car as "track prepped" now?

Well, I'd say it became a commercial post once you hit the post button. Do you get a kickback for finding a buyer?

LOL, you guys are a tough crowd. No, it's more than a set of cats. Lots more, to make it track prepped.

Alright, I'll relent, just a little.

It's got the lowering suspension kit specifically engineered and sold by Porsche for the C4S, mated to a TPC stage 3 suspension kit, augmented with GT3 front lower arms, with alignment set to aggressive track settings. Porsche Tequipment roll bar, with the heavy power seats replaced with lightweight Porsche GT3 full bucket seats.

Here's one teaser photo, showing a few other track oriented doodads. See if you can spot them

No kickback. They can sell to anyone, and I'll never know it, never profit from it. They can sell to someone who wants it taken back to stock form, since I gave back all the original parts. Now, that would be a real crying shame, since I put a lot of money, a lot of careful thought and effort in modifying this car. I would prefer someone who appropriates the car as-is buys it. It has been my baby for the last 15 years. That's the main reason I'm posting here, hoping the car goes to someone who will appreciate it as much as I did. If not, screw it, I gave it my best shot .

I too hope the right person ends up with your creation. But would it not have made more sense to list it here before trading it in and then trying to find a buyer for it?
