Default Is there a market for power seats?

Hi all. 6 months into the ownership of a new 2002 996 C4S, I replaced the OEM optional full leather/comfort leather sport power seats with racing bucket seats. They have been wrapped and stored in my house since then, in preparation for the day that I would resell the car. To make a long story short, the car is now a full track toy, and it would be silly to put these seats back in. Is there a market for these, and where to look for comparative pricing?

Thanks in advance!

People will always buy sport seats - especially in good shape. Price depends on condition and color.

Thanks for the response, Mark. You weren't kidding about the prices. I googled "996 power sport seats" and got a whole range of prices, from $200 to $2,000. These particular seats had been in use for 6 months, then pretty much placed in a time capsule. Used, but still pristine, so I guess I'll go to the high range. Otherwise, I'll make them into furniture for the man cave. LOL. I'll start on the Rennlist classifieds.

After looking at google and ebay photos, these are NOT sport seats. Sport seats have an additional bump at the shoulder area, these do not.

They are black, full leather, Paul. Listed them on ebay and the Rennlist classifieds, with a discount on the Rennlist site. Here's a link: https://rennlist.com/forums/parts-ma...l-leather.html

Here are photos:

I am going to Watkins Glen July 28-30 for a DE with NNJR. Saw a few 996's participating. If any of you are interested in these seats, let me know. I can take them with me in my Suburban tow vehicle.

I believe those are the "standard" leather seats. I purchased a similar set recently. The sport seats have "ears" in the shoulder area.

Edit: I missed that in Post #5, it was recognized that these are not sport seats.

Looks like something pressed into the leather.

Heating them gently with a heat gun should get those indentations out

Yeah, the rear seat cushions, also wrapped in plastic, were stored on top of the seat with the seat back folded. The rear seat cushions are really lightweight, almost cardboard light, but I guess several years of storage caused the indentations.

Thanks for the tip, Dan. I'll get the wife's hair dryer and get those dents out, then I'll replace the photos.
