Default car alarm is going off and the car won't unlock with the key. please help!!

Hello,

My 944 alarm is going off. I have tried unlocking with the fob and the key, neither doors will unlock nor will the boot. The battery is low and that is why the alarm is going off so I need to disconnect it somehow but i can't get in the car.

Do you guys post in the 996 forum just for the heck of it? Call a locksmith. And post over in the 944 forum here - https://rennlist.com/forums/924-931-...-968-forum-70/

Just wait a couple more hours and it should be on fire. Reach through the hole caused by the fire and open the door.

I have a feeling that he meant 996, not 994.

OP if you have a 996, open the front hood by pulling the emergency cable here:

You'll be able to get to the battery to disconnect it or re-charge it.

Read it again...944, not 964 or 996

Naw, it's his first post. Maybe he's running around in circle holding his ears?

Or he's looking for help to solve the problem so he can drive off with the car.

That's a 997! Or is it a 996 with a 997 facelift?

Pretty sure the word is out in Rennlist to post random question threads about different models here in the serene 996 forum. They got me the first four times, but number 5...ooooh you just wait!

From the looks of those rotors, he must keep his car parked on a boat ramp.
