Default Need Tire Help, Hazle Township, Pa!

I know this is a long shot, but one of my rear tires on my '02 C2, ruptured a side wall, probably from one of the numerous potholes around here. Thought I had bent a wheel at first.

Anyway, sitting here at a Firestone dealer, waiting for them to open, but not sure if they'll have a 285/30 18. Anyone know anyplace in the area I might try? I've got 600 miles to go today, and can't do it on the spare. Any help/advice appreciated.

My wife didn't even blink when she got a text saying to park in the street because a stranger from the internet needs to be able to access the garage.

Finally made it home! I can't thank Dave enough. His generosity turned a PIA situation for me into something that reinforced my basic feeling that most people are good.

He had everything ready when I pulled in! More like a pit stop. I only wish I had more time to visit.

Now the only downside is I really like the way his wheel looks! Might have to think about new ones. I'll ship yours back tomorrow, and thanks again.

Glad I could help! Yeah, I figured you had some miles to put down so I wanted to have it ready to rock for you. If you ever make it back this way we'll grab a beer or seven.

If there was any forum in RL to have this outcome it was this one. Very nice!
