First DE at Buttonwillow
Hey fellow 996ers,
Yesterday I had the immense pleasure of experiencing my first DE at Buttonwillow (1 CCW) with the PCA chapter 8.
What a fantastic car, what a great experience, what lovely folks I've met and drove around the track with.
The instructors were skilled (and volunteers), the car is capable of so much more than one would think just driving it on regular roads and the occasional twisties, it performed without a single hiccup.
Thanks to the organizers (John, Randy and the rest) and the other drivers for being courteous, fast and willing to drive hard.
And man, are some of the turns there tricky to do right (Off-Ramp, Cotton Corners)..
Here's me and my instructor at Off-Ramp (I think):

Sounds like you had a great time... and what a fantastic shot.
I'm definitely looking forward to taking the car out to the track this season (likely Laguna Seca first). Just a couple more maintenance items to take care of and she'll be ready to go.
