Default Instrument Cluster Seperated, now stalk controls don't work

Hey everyone! I took apart my instrument cluster to swap in white LEDs, put it back together, now my stalk controls do not work. Turn signal stalk works fine, but cruise control and the one that lets you select speed, temp, etc. does not. Also the odometer is always on now even after the time delay goes off. Any ideas as to what to look for when I take it back apart to see what I missed? Thanks in advance!

Take it apart and see what you've missed.

Go back to the last thing you did - swap out the standard bulbs for LED's. A lot of times it is the LED bulb in the circuit that causes the problem. Sensitive circuits, like on the instrument cluster, may not take to LED's. I have also discovered in some cases that LED's work one way in the socket and not the other, like the bayonet bulbs in the overhead light or license plate lights.

Thanks for the replies, funny thing is I didn't swap the lights after all. Just took it apart, then put it back together. I will retrace my steps tonight, I was just seeing if there was a specific component that controls those items I should look for. Thanks!

Closely examine the multi-pin connector for any bent or broken pins.

I had a similar problem when I added the fourth stalk. Turned out I was the problem and didn't seat the hazard button all the way.

Took it all apart and put it back together. Found I had put a screw in the wrong place. Now everything works fine. Yeah for me!
