PPI: Yes, local Pcar dealer and cost $300. Specifically asked them to pull the oil filter and check for particles.
Recommended maintenance: Car was nearly 100% mechanically, only had to replace the oil sender unit, as it was non-functional and thus I couldn't get an oil pressure reading.

Yes I realize that I paid very near the top of the market for a 996 C4S, but a) Porsches are more expensive than average here in Denver, and b) the only option (in my mind) that would make this car more desirable and worthy of a premium, would be the X51 powerkit. I don't think I would want a lower mileage car because those types of cars seem to be more plagued by the typical 996 problems due to lack of regular driving.
Wow, I don't think I've ever seen a C4S with 993/996.1 Turbo Twists before.
Thanks! That's my winter wheel setup, wheels are solid spoke and only 8x10 in the rear though. Just bought a second set of hollow spokes to serve as winter duty with 295 A/S tires.
However, I'm having an internal struggle with putting the 993/6.1 wheels up for sale. They suit the C4S very well, and its sort of my tribute to the 993.
