I just purchased a nice black 996 cab; 77k miles for 14700.00
His asking price was 14000.00, but after looking at all of his receipts, totaling 34K over the past 15 years of ownership... including the last on showing an engine "refresh" 250 miles prior (rebuilt heads, hone cylds, rings bearings, rod bolts, oil separator) totaling 14,700.00 (apparently it overheated in stop/go traffic)... I just felt sorry for him and gave him the extra cash. I plan on reselling after my 1 year warranty expires!

Condition of vehicle: Great Exterior(a few chips where expected but less for the age of car, Excellent Interior, 4 bald tires, Convertible top was sluggish, The original motor had a failure and was replaced with new short block (with Large non serviceable IMSB) at Porsche dealership at 85000 miles. AOS, alternator, coolant reservoir, and most in the engine bays are new parts while the engine was replaced. The dealership has warranty on all replaced parts for 2 years unlimited miles (expires July 2018).
PPI: Yes and had all the new replacement works/parts verified

General Notes: I happened to catch the PO's name in the manual and contacted him before my purchase. He took extremely good care of the car and has now replaced it with his second GT3. He sold this one because it wasn't fast enough. He also gave me the original airbox, springs, exhaust and shifter. A very generous member of the PCA family.
It has super sticky tires but they're not quite that good!

General Notes: Car is in good condition, drives beautifully, everything except the horn works. Came with only one key. Paint needs some work. Clay bar and polish really helped. Top J hook cover was missing and has been replaced so the top operates properly with the switch for final pull down. Leather hadn't been taken care of but isn't awful, no rips, and is now being conditioned regularly. Interior is pretty good overall. Top has been replaced, works well. Great deal on the car, low miles, clean Carfax, four owners. I had the ignition replaced (key was hard to remove and finicky) and a second key made. Dealer is a sports car nut. I would buy from him again. This car is a blast to drive.
