Need help
I am doing wheel bearings and brakes on my 911 (99) fronts went easy, replaced the the bearings also repacked the new bearings too.
The problem I have is the parking brake cable on the passenger side is shot. Is this a dealer item only? I have the one side torn apart now. I would like to get it done by this weekend.
Reason for bearings being replaced is the right side was making noises plus it has 178k miles too. Thanks jeff

Are you talking about item#13 in the parts list?

Yes, and number 14 would be nice to have too.

Yea, I was trying to keep my mouth shut, but at only $60 bucks for both, go OEM dude. If this was $1000 part, I'd understand trying to find alternatives, but with the factory cable only being $51, just buy it.

Yea, no problem. You can use those part numbers to cross-reference an aftermarket part.
