What are the benefits of using ARP rod bolts in a rebuild?

Its a race shop in Mexico City that builds all the race cars for the Telcel teams. They don't do work for the general public and only work on motors for race cars or friends of the owner which is my case. He's a friend of a friend and he resleeved my engine and modified my heads a bit for higher compression. They have all the best equipment available. They are funded by Carlos Slim to work and build all his race cars for his teams.

But for those like me who are ignorant but like to learn ,here is a link to clarify the technical differences between Nickies and the generics. In fairness, I note the OP was clearly aware of this and said so.Others.....not so much.

If there is no difference between the item using the TM "Nickies" and generics, we would like to know the technical explanation. This is a very technical issue and precise use of technical words and Trade Marks matters.Without that the discussion becomes misleading at best.

Wait, iron is suddenly an acceptable option? It was heresy when Forscheworks dared to suggest that ductile iron sleeving was a viable alternative...

I do not know enough to endorse any product here ! But iron sleeves are used in Pcars in U.K. but seem to have a rather contentious reputation. See Hartech for more. Baz has many pages on that.In the USA there is a place in Louisiana that does them but I am not going to even mention them by name ! 'Nuff said? YEMV - but let's see the comparative data fist?

I wasn't suggesting you were in charge of the "approved" list of sleeve materials/coatings, nor that you were one of the parties involved with beating Martin up about them. Sorry if it came across otherwise.

Well, I can get ARP Rod bolts at a good price. Probably will be buying them. Might as well since I will track my car around 5 times a year. I found that Add online somewhere. Its a good guide.
I already changed my Cylinder sleeves since they were damaged from spinning the bearing but they are not Nickies. The Race shop did them and are also coated with Nicasil or the same coating they use on the Nascar cars they build.

Now that you have the ARP bolts ,it may help the keyboard critics understand if you post photo comparing the stock rod bolt with ARP and give your own comments and observations.

968 had 24 Psi boost only used ARP never an issue on head gasket and 650 hp out of 4 cyl
No question these are the best - small investment for best bolt
