Bain dramage.
Drinking with the Russian and his co-conspirator until the wee hours of the morning = waking-up drunk this morning.
Just checked in. May as well stay another night and see what the Hoffbrau house is all about. The Trump Hotel is better than Vdara was.

I am back in Phoenix.
Thanks to everyone for showing up and making this happen! Besides few hangovers, some lost pumpkins, and Schnell catching a prophetic Karma from JI...the only real casualty was Kenqv getting rear-ended by 10 year old girl during karting.

Just got back to my room from Hofbrauhaus with Dr_Strangelove, EddieLasVegas and Kenqv.
I just want to let everyone know how much I appreciate how well this weekend went. Every single person that I had the good fortune of meeting at this event were truly fun, interesting and nice people, and I mean the Rennlisters as well as the local PCA folks.
Thanks, Kalashnikov, for doing most of the heavy lifting to get this thing coordinated. Thanks, HawkFan#12, for leading the drive to the Valley of Fire. Cuda, great shirt design! Thanks to anyone else that I failed to mention that also helped along the way. And thanks to everyone else for just being a blast to being around. And in another 363 days we'll hopefully be doing it again, and with more of the rest of you here that couldn't make this year!
Okay, time for some sleep now.

The 928 guys have a couple of get togethers like this each year: Sharks in the Mountains has its 20th anniversary this year. Hopefully this can turn into an annual thing. Maybe get a couple of sponsors onboard even to help with the coordination and the overhead. I could see doing 3 events per year - East Coast, West Coast and Flyover Land. I'm certain that we could host the Flyover land event here at the museum.

Hey Guys, so sorry that I had to miss this event. Just could not get back in time. It looks like it was a blast and I enjoyed seeing the pictures and comments. Hopefully next year. And HawkFan#12 and IkoIko911, since you both live in LV, lets try to meet up for lunch one weekend.

That was a mighty smack you took...good thing you weren't standing. She was going full clip when she rammed into you, and at least a couple others in our group were also visited by the Helen Keller of karting.

To everyone who made it: thanks for showing up. I had a blast.
To those who didn't: If there's a second annual event - probably in 5 or 6 years - you should consider it.

I can't believe one of you guys didn't "Earnhardt Sr." her out of the track! That's the only way to get a "crash and burn karter's" attention. 12 yo or not they got to learn young that crap don't float! At the daughter's pre-wedding funtime we did Joe's Karting in CB, IA. The future son-in-law's sister thought she was Mario frickin Andretti until the youngest son and I teamed up and showed her the tire barrier. Boy was she pissed! She blamed me as "your a race car driver, why did you do that?". I told her she earned that treatment. She didn't try to again.
