Why is my headlight out?

Default Why is my headlight out?

Ok I know stupid question, it's driver side low beam, old bulb looked fine , put new bulb in , nothing .
fuse looked fine, put new fuse in , nothing
is there some kind of compasitor relay ballast condenser I don't know about ?

swap bulbs with other side

The bulb that come out looked good and I put a new bulb in, so faulty bulb has been ruled out

Yep, there is a panel board behind the headlight switch that goes bad.

There is a brown ground wire inside the frunk, behind the carpet. Mine was loose. Check that before you go to the trouble of replacing the headlight switch. I didn't.

If the faulty headlight has been removed and replaced it may have been forced back into place and bent one of the connector pins over. That's what happened to mine. I straightened or 'stood up' the bent over pin via long nose pliers and solved the problem.
