Yes, gray foam hitting you in the face causes bad thoughts like metal bits in the filter, cracked heads, bore scoring, IMS failure, ISIS, Global Warming, apocalypse, etc.

i have modified every car i have ever owned lol so that one is a given no matter what I buy at least

Well, I joined RL when I bought the car, so kind of counts. But I learned that LA Porsche (and probably other exotic car owners) drive slow because our roads are sh*tty and you feel it exponentially more than in your typical Honda Camry crossover.
