It's good in two ways.
First, to show that these cars hold up very well if maintained properly.
Second, to actually admire someone for running up the miles on a great car rather than adopting the "save it for the next guy" mentality (which drives me freaking nuts).
If I had it to do over again, I would have bought a high-mileage 996tt rather than one with 47k miles (which I realize isn't exactly low miles). My '99 C4 aero coupe had 133k miles on it when I bought it and I never thought twice about driving it everywhere. Now, I sit there and worry about how many miles I'm putting on the 996tt, even though I'll probably never sell it. I hate odometer stress.

Guards Red or not, I think $18,500.00 is a little optimistic for any 996 with 197k mi. on it On the other hand, it would be nice if prices started trending that way

Too many other cars out there with less miles that have been maintained for around that price or above but not by much.
