It's not funny.
The similarity between the front end in particular of a 360 Farrari and a 996 Porsche is just not funny. The BHP is though. I was watching a race on Top Gear which prompted me to remark on the similarity. What dyawl think?
The hood line is different, the headlights (obviously) are different, the dimensions of the air intakes are completely different, the shape of the hood falling away from the windshield is different. The Ferrari bumper is flatter than the Porsche (vertically); the Ferrari has two obvious lines along the front edge of the bumper where the 996 has none. The central intakes are completely different, both in size and geometry. The hood contour - from back to front - is totally different.
But they are both red. And they both include a picture of a horse.
I think if you look at any cloud long enough, you will see a puppy. Or a goat. Or whatever it is you're hoping to see.
I also believe I would prefer (as a pedestrian) to be hit by the Porsche - it looks like it might hurt somewhat less than the Ferrari.
Oh, and you can't see the Ferrari's hood latch hardware when the hood is closed - that's an eyesore on Porsche's part that I never understood. "Hey, let's make that hideous red thing visible, even with the hood is closed!"
I think the tatooist may have somehow nicked your frontal lobe.
It is funny that any other new non-911 Porsche is starting to go more more to the teardrop headlight. Not at all saying they hit the nail on the head with the first gen 996, but the second gen lights seem to be coming back in style.
