It's not funny.
I don't see it. I see the little elements you're alluding to but I don't think, in aggregate, they create vehicles that resemble one another. The overall shape of the car is completely different. The 996 is compact in all of its proportions -- just as 911s always have been. The Ferrari is low and wide. The shape of the headlights is different. In person, the fender bulges leading into the 996's headlights apes that of older 911s. They are far more pronounced in person on the 996 than in the picture. The 360's is more creased and flat and doesn't evoke the same shape. And, big intakes have been a design element on sporty cars for a while now...even sedans.

It's nothing worth getting worked up about.

Wow, the more you look, the more examples you find. Not only did Hyundai use 4 wheels, just like the Rolls, they're all black. It's also white, and there's ALSO shiny trim.

I was going to post up a Chrysler 300 next to a Bentley, but I got bored.
Your "Platinum Player" picture reminds me of the Panamera I saw at Home Depot with massive baller wheels. They must have been at least 23's, maybe 24's. This is not that car, but apparently 24's and up on Panameras is now a thing:
I'm not sure why the owner wanted wheels that look like a bunch of corndogs arranged in a circle, but whatever...maybe he's a Hotdog on a Stick franchisee.

On my posting I forgot to say "they look similar during the night when you are wearing shades, one eye closed, standing on the pavement when the cars drive passed at 150mph or above" lol

Who in their right mind has those installed, steps away from the car and thinks, "Damn I made the right choice as those wheels look GREAT!"????
