Default Phoenix

Hi guys, I have taken a new job in Phoenix.

I just took her out of storage last Friday, changed the oil, checked fluids and filled the tires. She's ready to rock.
This will be the longest road trip so far for me in the 996.

Packing up the car tonight and hitting the road at 6:00AM tomorrow (my wife is staying here until the house sells). Anyone looking for a house in Mequon, WI. let me know.

Any suggestions for Indy's or things to do, would be appreciated.
I've only spent one day there and that was for the interview last month.

I have to say it's the perfect time to get out out of Wis.

Will post once I get to Phoenix.

I use McIlvain Motors. Owner is tech advisor for local PCA and he has all factory trained techs. Labor rate very reasonable and owner is a good guy.

Beck's European in the Scottsdale Airpark area. They are terrific.

Hey Zenski: I just googled Mequon to Phoenix, and it routed through KC. If you get a chance, the Kansas City Automotive Museum is on your route. It is right off I-35 at 119th Street exit in Olathe, KS. My law office is on the 2nd floor. Anybody arriving in a 996 gets in free - museum policy since we have several 996 owners on the board of directors. If you stop by, tell them at the front desk to let me know and I'll come down to say "Hey". Actually, it's Porsche Month here also, so our rotating exhibit is Porsches from the local PCA. We have a really nice Super 90 Cabriolet on display. Several really good restaurants within 3 blocks of here, including Joe's Kansas City BBQ, which is considered one of the best BBQ joints in KC.

Well the trip went great. The car ran awesome, I ended up doing it in two days, so no sight seeing. Enjoyed my first full day of warmth yesterday...81 in February.
Thanks for the info.

Just wait for 120 during the summer! I lived in Tempe for 2 years. August is the warmest month there. I did enjoy the winter weather though, that's for sure. Be sure to check out the Pavs Saturday night meets in Scottsdale (the Scottsdale Pavilions). It's pretty fun.
