x2. Out of sight, out of mind.

Unfortunately I'm planning on doing a tear down in a few years so my alternative will be the Quickjack.

I've had the tiles in since April. they have held up well, but I haven't done any heavy work in the garage - mostly detailing.

My wife gave me an early Christmas present for the garage.

This is the VacuMaid Garage Vac Pro with the 50ft. hose. The 50 ft. hose allows me to vacuum cars parked out in the driveway and the permanent wall mount means no more banging a rolling vacuum into my cars.

For the power output, it's relatively quiet and it has a HEPA filter so it doesn't blow back any dust or dirt in the garage.

some awesome ideas and transformations here

i would have reservations about grout in the garage, but i love the tile. i need to do something with my floor. dont want grout lines, but do want tile of some sort. need something that will withstand moving the lift, and taking splashes of fluids....

took a crappy bare garage, turned it into a working space. added insulation, slat-wall, and Mitsubishi Mini-split for heat and air conditioning.

just need to figure out what to do for a tile floor?

before and after.

EMBPilot - carpet is nothing more than the a Home Depot very tight weave indoor/outdoor carpet for $.39/ft^2. Super clean look, very affordable, and not issue with rain, mud, or snow. Comes 12' wide which makes the install sharp and easy.

Nice looking garage. I really like those tiles and the work bench looks like a great place to work on stuff.

M54samrr - just rolled out the carpet but did use seem tape to hold the two rolls together. So long as I drive straight in and out of the garage (not a problem with my layout) the carpet is fine and doesn't move.
