Default Borla Exhaust for 996?

Does anyone have any experience with the Borla exhaust for the 996? How does it compare to PSE, Fabspeed, etc?

As of 6 months ago Borla did not have a 996 system. Has that changed?

Well you know I went to their website and looked around and couldn't find one, but according to our local PCA Prez, he's got one sitting in his garage, so I'll have to circle back with him and see exactly what he's got...

Borla doesn't make anything for Porsche. Came straight from Borla. So I'm not sure what he has in his garage?

I have a Borla exhaust on my '87 Targa. It has a nice tone but very tame compared to the performance exhausts on newer Porsches. I don't think Borla makes exhausts for newer Porsches. If you are looking for a nice sounding exhaust for your 996, go with PSE or Fabspeed. You can't go wrong with either. There are many satisfied customers on this board who can attest to both.

Yeah I just noticed it today, heh. It may fit in the newer 996 C2 with the updated rear bumper cover. Hopefully they will make a set for those of us with the first version. Always liked the Borla sound.
