The rear badge looks off... I would be carefull maybe it was involved in some accident.

I say say the smaller the engine the longer they last. Imo seems 3.4l has less failures then the 3.6 and same goes for the 997 3.6l less failures then 3.8l

Huh ? I think the experience will early mark 1's on this board is good - later ones maybe had more engine issues - and mark 2's had some improvements but can still suffer ims failure - so might want to budget for some preventative maintenance there. Durability is great compared most other cars, but at over 10 years old you will have to replace things like water pumps, window regulators, alternators etc. My maintenance budget is about $2k per year average - and that is with some DIY.

Get a good ppi by a specialist and at a minimum open oil filter to look for unusual debris.

Turbo engines are considered much more solid , but maintenance will be more as might be insurance.
