Excited to be 996 Owner for the 2nd time
It's been a while since I've posted. I sold my first 996 back in May with the plan of getting into a 996 turbo or a 997 C2 in 1.5 to 2 years. I knew I didn't want to keep my first one forever and I also knew it would be tougher to sell once it hit 100k miles so I sold it at 84k miles. After a few months, I missed the car and after thinking about my plan, I decided that it might not be the wisest move to dump $35k to $45k on a car that sits in my garage most of the time. I also didn't think that the additional enjoyment of the turbo was worth $15k to $20k more. So I decided to start looking for a yellow or white 996 C2 with Aero kit. I took delivery of this beauty today - 1999 C2 with factory Aero. I think it would be difficult to find a cleaner '99 than this. If you recognize this car, yes it is indeed porsche-t's car.

Very nice car. Congrats. I didn't care much for 99 aeros with taco wings but they have grown on me.
On your comment about Turbos, some over in the Turbo forum may argue that a turbo is worth at least over $50K except if it's guards red and tracked. KC knows; he'll tell ya!

Well there was the one in NJ that was recently totaled by a Prius (as if we needed more reasons to dislike them!).
Great looking car though. Maybe I should look for a white one to contrast ours. Have to see if I can get "mono" and "chrmatic" or "yin" and "yang" for the plates though.
