Default 996 Investment

Well, I just scheduled a major investment into the 996. Going to have a new clutch, intermediate shaft bearing, spin on oil filter adapter, front crank seal, and spark plugs done.

Anyone interested in purchasing a kidney? I know selling the kids is probably cheaper for me in the long run but I just can't bring myself to do it.

That bill hurt

Try posting it up on Fund Me. I hear Taylor Swift just gave a couple $50,000 for some sick kid. Seems like kinda the same....

Your title was misleading. When I saw it, my initial reaction was this:

But after I read your post, I'll say this: if you plan to hold on to her for a while it's a good investment. If not, be more picky. I wasn't and ended up being in the hole when I sold her.

You only have to really worry about that if it is a liver from DT. In which case I believe the answer is "all and frequently"

What?!? You sold your car?

Next you'll be telling me that KC got a Turbo or something equally silly.

Dont bother keeping up with PM expenses on the 996. It will just make you ill every time you see the total continue to eclipse the value of the car.

And you make fun of me for taking a long time to register. Next I know, you'll think your 996 is the new 993. Then you'll sell it and invest in a GTI

Well it would be fitting at that point since she would help me join the ranks of the Castrati for selling her car without her permission

I just dumped $20K (15K US) into mine , clutch, ims, rms, single mass flywheel, coilovers, limited slip diff, powerflex bushes etc etc etc and my car only has 38000 miles on it.

but I spent 3 winters working 3 hours north of Edmonton in the Oilsands to fund it.
Might have been better off selling a kidney , -40'C is not fun!

You are a total *** wipe and the last person that should be giving advice on maintaining a Porsche. Reading your posts are like listening to Keith Richards talk about sobriety.

...or Kim Kardashian discussing chastity and string theory...or Justin Beiber describing the joy of writing a timeless, classic song...or Macster writing a post encouraging brevity...
