Not to hijack the thread but don't waste your money on Bluetooth if your looking for a quality hands-free talking on the phone experience . I already went down that path. The car is just too noisy for the person on the other end to hear you clearly with good fidelity unless the car is completely sealed up and you're not going very fast...

That depends on the system. I have BT in my Cab and it works awesome. I can carry on conversations with the top down.

Yep, I have a BT phone system too... use it all the time. I had the microphone installed right in front of the steering wheel. When it was off to the side, it didn't work well.

Have you ever actually heard what you sound like on the other end? Guess it really depends on how you define quality (My bench mark is when the person on the other end can't tell the difference)...

Without sound canceling technology in close proximity, at best you sound like you're on a plane. In a factory installed system with sound canceling technology and multiple mics mounted in just the right places the audio quality is just acceptable fidelity but still not like being in a quiet room on a quality speaker phone (IMO).

Aftermarket car stereo systems (all except the very latest) do not use sound canceling technology so even with the most directional mic with a wind filter is still not going to sound great (even in a fairly quiet car)...

So unless you've got the absolute latest car audio system with multiple mics, I don't think anyone is going to "want" to have a conferance call with you while in a moving 996...

The phone stays in the pocket or goes into the center console. Otherwise, it becomes a projectile.

I haven't had any complaints about my Bluetooth sound. If I did get a complaint I could always use the old fashioned earphones w/mic that you get with every iPhone. Either way from a safety and convenience standpoint, Bluetooth is a must have. Shifting gears while trying to talk on a phone is no fun.
