Assuming you have a Smart Phone, try this to clear the code:
Super Mini ELM327 V1.5 OBD2 OBD-II Bluetooth CAN-BUS
You can find it on Amazon.com and other online sites.
Ahsai recommended it to me, and it works great. Less than $10 US.

Yes, definitely get a Bluetooth version if you use an Android phone. If you use an iphone, ipad, etc you need to get the wifi version (the one in the link I sent). The wifi version also works on Android phones too.
