And bumper covers from a turbo, which everyone knows are bullet proof.
By my estimate, roughly 75% of the rounds completely missed the vehicle. Great marksmanship!

Should we find out if its positive or negative article. The last 996 article I saw in Truth about cars was about how the 996 was Porsches deadliest sin. And the guy had no clue what he was talking about.

It's not positive or negative about the 996, it's about my experience buying one that was relatively inexpensive.
Thank you for all the offers, I wound up shooting Fast40th's GT silver, 40th anniversary 996. It is a gorgeous car and conveniently located about three miles from me. Below is a teaser. I'll post a link to the article when it's up and you guys can love or hate me.

Just curious if the 40th was chosen for the "911" emblem pic in the back? The 40th is one of the more expensive models not to mention one that is very generously optioned out, so not really sure how that flows with the "inexpensive" portion of your article.

So far we've had Wide Open, BAL, and I think Nik(?) write some articles for various publications. I really think we need to get Johnny Irish to write a 996 piece for Robb Report or somewhere along those lines.

Hey, I've got a 928 and a 951 that you can photograph. And I'm in Kansas. I know you wanted a base, non-modified, inexpensive 996, but both those cars are about as close (both proximity and type) as most of the cars offered or the one you chose to shoot. So, you know, yours if you want 'em. Just sayin'.
Oh, and they both have breaks and tyres. (That's for my buddy Schnell )
