Default Was there a heated steering wheel option on the 996?
I miss the heated wheel i had in my last BMW. Better feature than heated seats IMO.

lol, I highly doubt it, given that 911s are generally way behind the curve on tech of this nature.

No, I think it only may have become an option during the 997 face-lift.

The others that replied are correct. Porsche never offered the 996 with a heated wheel.

Bummer - those of us with early-onset/juvenile arthritis LOVE the heated wheel. Sometimes I have to go sit in the Murano and let the wheel heat up my hands to get them working in the AM.

Rare option that tended to over heat some, typically only used once.

I had a 740il that had the heated steering wheel.. Really great option. That one also had heated rear seats, the kids loved that...

Heated stealing wheel? Really?
I guess I'm more of a sports car driver not a Luxury car driver.
Doesn't the 2006 997 have one right next to the factory feminine products disposal bin ?
