Default 99 alternator pulley

6 speed. Is Alternator pulley clutch or free spinning

Both the alternator pulley and the driving pulley are fixed. Take the belt off and the alternator should freely spin 'silently'. The other pulley is driven by the belt as the engine is running.

From what I have found out the 99 cars Do not have the clutched pulley.
I have a 99 also, and it is not clutched either.
I think it was only 2000 and up got the clutched pulleys on the 6 speed cars.

Thank you both very much! I had it tested and they said it was low voltage at 12.1 but I thought these were 12V alternators

The normal output of a 12v alternator should be between 13.5v and 14.5v
