Default small oil leak :/

hello,
first , good year celebrations for all.
since 6 months I have traveled 10.000km with my 996 C2 2000.
I enjoy driving it
but I just noticed a small oil leak
driver's side

zoom :

for the moment I do not have oil task on the ground...

have an idea about the origin of the leak ? engine rocker ??
is it serious?
is what I can safely lead for to the engine ?

when I did the engine oil drain there at 6 months, the valve cover was fat, but no oil drop.

thank you for your answers stef

No advice on your leak...but I'm pretty sure your title includes the keyboard symbol for a boner.

Stef, can you take a better picture and or video to get a better look? I can't really see the angle.
That's funny Gonzo! I've never seen it that way! It's always been a sideways/confused mouth to me!!

Just a thought, but could the oil be leaking from a higher point and collecting at the point you are seeing? The oil you are seeing could be from the AOS or AOS bellows located in the same area but just a little higher.

without a better photo/idea of where the oil is coming from, my first guess would be valve cover...

If the oil is at the arrow as indicated, most likely you need to replace spark plug tube and/or o-rings.

The pic you posted is doing just that as well.

Here's an idea, wipe the area clean, then you should be able to determine where the oil is leaking from.

06stef, is this a right hand or left hand drive car? Your second post shows the right side of the engine (looking from the rear of the car). Using the same principle, AOS will be on the left side of the engine.

another possible leak is from the cam position sensor.

I have cleaned the valve cover and the cover plate.
I have driven 20 km and the vehicle is parked in the garage since two days.

the valve cover is clean :

no leakage during a long stop
So I have doubts for my tubes sparkes, what about you?
