Ever driven across Nevada? I can think of about 100 miles of road (at least) that you could do that without issue and endangering no one but yourself.
Highway 50!! Been there done that when I drove a X5 4.6is I had just purchased from CO to CA. I had some nice 120-125 stretches in there!
Fastest I have been is 165 but that was in a closed highway open road race event in a 1991 corvette with a few aero mods. It was completely stable at those speeds. Still quite a rush even tho we had full safety gear on and a roll bar with harnesses.
You sir are either crazy or have giant nads. Where on earth did you do that? Or maybe you shouldnt say. I couldnt even imagine trying it. Seen too many bad things happen at speed.
There was an article published -- it has been years now -- in one of the major USA mags about where its reviewers/testers can top speed test cars without having to rent a track. A number of locations -- private roads in some cases -- were divulged.

On a road trip east I entered NV on 50 and drove on east. A little ways further into the state away from any real population to where the land ahead looked to be just nothing but basin and range I came upon a road side sobriety check point manned by a large number of LEO's. I pulled up and stopped and rolled down the Turbo driver's window. The deputy leaned into the open window a ways and said something like "I hope you aren't driving this fine automobile drunk". I replied no. I had the idea of asking him if all the LEO's manning this check point meant the road ahead was uum, clear? But I thought better of it.
But as it turned out, the road ahead was, uum, clear.

Actually the engine puts out less heat than a full dress Harley. It runs at about 170 degrees because it thinks its on an engine stand. Its never working hard at all. Its a 10 second bike even with the street tire if you manage the throttle properly. I been riding it for 6 years and it never breaks or leaks. Its an automatic. It makes a nice companion for my Porsche when its in the garage.
