Default I think I just bought a 99

Agreed on the price, getting a few other little items worked out and finish the deal.

99 with Aero Package
31K miles
Ocean Blue Metallic / Grey interior
Leather dash and door cards
Xenons
18” Sport Class wheels/tires
Draped leather seats
CD Play
Power Seats

Doesn't have heated seats. Doesn't have a service history.

It has a K&N intake and some aftermarket exhaust.

Oh, I forgot, it's a C4.

Getting a few things checked out on it, namely changing the oil and cutting the filter open.

The car is in Reno, Nevada. Was owned by the original owner 13 years, then it was sold last summer and the carfax shows two owners in the last year, one was for 15 days. Here is a video that I found of it from July 2013:

You can see it has 28K miles, which match the Carfax. It also shows the stock exhaust and no K&N filter. It now has an aftermarket exhaust (don't know which type) and K&N, so I know somebody did that in the last year.

I did quite a bit of talking with the owner of the dealer, plus the mechanic there, plus I hired somebody off craigslist in Reno to go take pictures of it and send them to me as the dealer's website pictures are terrible.

It has a few stone chips on the hood and the front bumper has some more chips, which I will evaluate what to do. I will most likely clean the paint up and wax it and drive it like that for some time. The front bumper may have been painted previously is what they said. Not a big deal, could always get it painted again.

Here's the car:

I think I got a very good deal on it. $3K below asking.

Sorta surprising based on your previous posts but congrats.

I guess you'll see any issues once it's been delivered.

Looks nice. The low miles should mean a pretty fresh car.
As long as the mechanicals are OK, it could be a very nice car.

As far as mods, parts of the console, the "horseshoe" around the HVAC controls, and several dash trim pieces look to have been painted or replaced.
How do you feel about the headlight covers? Can you tell how long they've been on the car?
Whether you like them or not, I would want to know how they are applied/installed to see if they can be removed without damage to the headlights.
Let us know how this turns out!

In regard to the horseshoe, you know I will be on ebay every day for months until I find a black leather piece and a black leather console!!! Need to mod something you know.

I don't like the headlight covers, but will figure out what to do with them, somebody in Canada said they would be interested in them.

I've said it before and I'll say it again...

The Mark I's with the Aero package are the best looking Porsche ever made.

Congrats.

Very similar to my car in terms of options. Again, if you want to get rid of those horrendous looking wheels, I'll trade you even up for my gorgeous twists.
Congrats - looks like a very nice car!
