Yeah, but that's a common trait among pretty much all DC area Porsche owners.

EDIT: Just realized that he's buying a 996TT. "From now on, your Delta Tau Chi name is "D!ck, Jr." "Why D!ck, Jr.?" "WHY THE HELL NOT!"

Yeah really annoying. I'm calling Jake to complain.

Plus I'm going to ask Jake to punch him for naming his car and then using that name prominently in the ad. That's not creepy at all.

To me I read that as "I'm not really serious about selling it and will not accept reality when faced with it". It also suggests, to me, that things might not be as represented as well.
Disagree. I will show 'tire kickers' anything they want. I love to hear myself talk, and BS. But - tire kicker =/= test drive. What put me over the edge were a couple with 3 kids driving up in a pig of a 84 Buick or something wanting to 'buy' my Ferrari. But, DeWayne had to drive it first. I bid them have a nice day.

That particular dealer has a reputation in this area. I haven't heard anything good about them from anyone I respect.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Porsche-911-...m=152040041189

Best sorted 996 I have found. He send me copies of the reciepts and all the work done. The IMS cost was $800 - not sure if LM or not but they changed everything - IMS, RMS, AOS, plugs, clutch, etc

It is close to perfect for me but no heated seats and no litronics

and has option 220 - the LSD - not sure if that was standard or not - my other 996 was a carrera 4 with PSM.

Rockhouse bought a car from them from SC last year. I went and scoped it out for him and he had them take it to Steinel's for a PPI. I think it worked out OK for him, but the salesman I talked to there was clueless. They did have a guy there who seemed to know a little more about 996's.

Is it the colors and features you want? Minus the heat seats and litronics.

220 was an option on the 99, not standard. Check for 222, and 224 also. Maybe even sport suspension, I think is 474?
