I was browsing Craigslist night and found a 1999 37k black on black, 6mt...in Columbia, SC I think asking was $21,800

Yes, it's entirely possible given 2002 was the first year ALL 911's had a single row. I've worked with the dealer and Eurosport (both shops the seller references) quite a bit and would not question either, but of course, the seller could have misunderstood what he was told. Regardless, you have a 90% success rate with either. As I said, swap it out if that's your thing... either way, looks like an honest ad and worth following up on if you're in the market.
