Yes, they most definitely are. My buddy has one and parked next to my C4s it's absolutely astounding how few exterior parts they share, not just the rear quarters, but roof line, c-pillars, rear glass, "back seat" glass, tail lights, rear bumper...

I don't have much of a problem with someone flipping a car as long as they can show they have done substantial work to the car that will justify a much higher asking price.
