Quote from the Seller's description:

"I love the car but I just don't have time for it anymore, I don't need to sell it"

Wow, now that's a paradox!

Nah. Simply translates as:

"I can't see it's flaws so I'm not willing to budge on price"

No paradox.

2001 Porsche 911 Carrera Or Trade For Diesel 4x4 Ford Truck - $13500 (Ramona)
https://sandiego.craigslist.org/esd/cto/6031097027.html
I made an appointment with the seller a few weeks ago to go and see the car. Unfortunately he called at the last minute stating the battery was dead and we never rescheduled. He is probably not driving it much. But he did emphasize his very willingness to take an offer. He admitted the location is a little out of town, so he even agreed it will be difficult to get buyers to drive up there to go see it. (price will be lower).

But if someone likes the factory air kit, color, and IMS already done, you could probably get this one at a very good price. There might be some risk buying from someone who really wants a 4x4 diesel and therefore may not be a P-car guy. I have no idea about condition or history other than what is in the ad.

How bout this for paradox:

"I love the car, I love it.. like BIGLY love it! I just don't have time for it anymore now that I've modified every aspect of this thing and run outta things to do to it. I will try to sell it for all eternity until I get my price, but don't need to sell it and so don't waste my time, but I accept cash. Did I tell you I was broke? Please help."

He might get better results with some non-scam looking pics as well as details about the rebuilt motor... Price is definitely in the "might be worth the risk" area though and the outside looks nice enough.

You forgot to mention that it was his kindly grandma's car and she never let anyone else drive it and only used it for going to church and bingo herself.

Deal of the century - provided he can prove engine repl, and LN bearing installed. Makes sense if the engine was done though. If it were any other color than gray/silver/black, it would be on a truck to my place right now.

Ad says it's automatic. Did you verify that when you spoke to him? That will also drive the price down.

Nope didn't talk about it - I was looking for a Tip and assumed the ad was correct.

Wow, then you lived near Okefenokee Joe. He is a legend in those parts!
