Congrats and nice car! A word of advice - spend less time here reading about every thing that potentially could go wrong with your car and more time driving and enjoying your cool car.
Thanks for all the positive comments....I believe the color is midnight blue?? I too don't mind the pumpkins and will stick with the factory interior lights as well. Interior pics coming. The only immediate plans are to change out the headlight bulbs, the original owner prolly changed only one at some time cause they're noticeably different colors. Think I'm gonna go with the Osram CBI's

Agreed. It is easy to get overly concerned with all the problems you read about. People ALWAYS post about what is broken and rarely post things like "I've been driving my 996 for 3 years and haven't had to do anything but regular maintenance."

Nice car. Enjoy her!
Thanks and I agree completely, I've joined many forums over the last 10-15 years and most of what I see obviously, are people posting with problems, this forum is no different. What I find unique about this forum is everyone's willingness to help other members and the absolute wealth of great info and links! I'm hoping to contribute as much as I can but can tell you I will spend most of my time in the drivers seat peeling away layers of my 55 year old mind back to the days of my youth
very nice car! i like the sport seats with the porsche crests - i'm a lil surprised folks don't order the crest more often. an inexpensive option that is so classy. congrats!
Congrats!!! facelift carrera in midnight blue....beautiful! hope you dont get the mod fever!..its a slippery slope....LOL....good luck i have the exact same car.
Randy, sweet looking car...no I hope to keep the modding down to a minimum....perhaps a clear lens swap for my headlight projectors and LED tailights are about all I have planned. Your paint looks great! I wanna get a decent detail on the paint before I put her away next month.
Welcome aboard, liljohnny - be sure to sign up at a member here. It will pay you back many times over, especially if you change your mind and step out on the slippery slope called "mods". Great looking Pcar
