Selling Price 2003 996TT?
Trying to determine whether or not to put my 2003 911 Turbo Coupe on the market. LOVE the car but with college tuition expenses coming up, it has left me thinking.
Looks like the value of these cars are all over the place.
Mine is Black on Black with 15,100 original miles. I am the 2nd owner. I bought it 5 years ago off the original owner with 3,400 miles on it. It is garaged year round--in the warmer months it is stored in my garage--in the winter months it is kept in a heated storage facility. It has never been driven in the snow or salt. In fact, I believe it was only driven in the rain ONE time. (I was caught in a rainstorm driving home one day).
I have the original Certificate of Authenticity along with just about every other record, including the window sticker. Original Options on the car include the Turbo Power Kit, Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB), Heated front seats, Porsche Crest in Headrest, Carbon Door sill, aluminum instrument dials, aluminum leather Shifter brake handle etc.
Significant upgrades include the AWE Tuning Programming with flash loader performance module which brings the car up to 600 hp (if desired) as well as an AWE Tuning Stainless Steel non chambered high flow muffler system. I also have the original muffler, which would go with the car. The radio has been upgraded (have the original radio) and it has the K40 radar in the front and rear bumper.
I don't believe there is a mark on this car so to call it pristine is probably an understatement. The only thing I would say it "needs" is...I was planning on putting new tires on in the Spring. The tires now are fine but they have about 10,000 miles on them. My plan was to do new tires when I take it out of storage.
This is one of those situations where if someone hit me with a good number, I would sell....if not, I would gladly continue to enjoy it.
Just trying to figure out what a good number is?
Thanks

A good number is what someone is willing to pay for it. I suggest you join RL with a paying membership and post the same question in the 996 Turbo forum because this is sounding like too much of a troll........with 8 posts in 2 years and no pics.

Wow, the car has just over 1000 miles per year on it. Almost a unicorn. Unfortunately it's still a 996 where even the turbo prices have depreciated greatly. You can get a cash price from CarMax very easily, but prepare to be disappointed. I'd put it up on ebay with a relatively high reserve and see what happens. Good luck.

You'll probably get 48-50k. I actually think the mods and tune hurt the cars value but that is debatable. I think most turbos sell for low 40's, but x50 and pccb's and low miles definitely help you get more $$. Good luck.

I'm not sure you can pay college tuition by remitting a pre-owned 928, but it's worth a try.
It only took you 4 days to start trying to pawn it off on someone else...must be an amazing car.

I think 48k-52k would be a fair asking price.
had it been fully stock with full service history. I think 55k would be possible, well at least in the Pacific NW and Canada.

I'll even trade you my wife, my bicycle, my inflatable doll, my gun, my horse, my children, my children's children and my dog. You can keep the original radio. But you absolutely have to give me new tires. I want Pilots all the way around. Hold on I'm giving away to much. Forget the dog I'm keeping him. What do you say sport?

That's a beauty! I'd guess that it will sell in the $48K - $50K range.
