Default Center Cap Crest

I have 19 inch wheels with center caps with the colored crests. One of the crests has fallen or pried off and lost or stolen. Is it possible to buy only the crest and glue it in the center cap? From the way it looks the crest was glued onto the center cap. There appears to be glue residue left on the cap leading me to believe it was pried off and stolen. I have a pic but cannot figure out how to post it here?? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Catalogs I have checked do not have 996's replacements yet.

You can buy a single centercap...about $50 less your PCA discount, if your local dealer offers one. Ask me how I know...

Default Go To Wheel Enhancement.

Try www.wheelenhancement.com . When I was there getting my curbed wheel replaced the guys over there were showing me individual colored wheel crests. They are awesome, and have very reasonable prices.

Default wheel crests

SPR,

Is there a specific area to look on e-bay? I have looked all over and cannot locate them.

Thanks

Bill

996 aero, I don't know how much of a rush you are in. I just bought a set of caps and plan to put mine on ebay. Here is a pic of the ones I'll be selling. I got them on ebay and had Melissa Moody at www.center-caps.com paint them for me.

yeah I look under the key words Porsche center, porsche centers, porsche cap(s). You should find a bunch. Wow don those are really cool centers. Is it me or are those different than the regular painted ones? Sorry my car is totaled so I can't go down and look at mine! doh!

oh btw, dunno how you feel about them but there is a guy that is selling gt3 centers that look cool as all hell. I am not about putting incorrect badging but I must admit I considered it when I had my car as I don't care for the oem optioned painted centers I have.

Sean, I got these on ebay myself. They were just black and silver. As I said I sent them center-caps.com to have the red and clearcoat put on. The new ones I'm getting are more "3 dimensional" in that they will have silver crests imbedded in the cap.

What do the GT3 caps look like?

Don,

I have the full colored ones but if I get no results with two others places I have contacted I would definately be interested in yours. Let me know when they go on e-bay.....I only need one but I can't seem to find a match anywhere. Don't know how to post a picture or I would. I would like to have them before October...Going to enter my 996 in a concours then.

SPR...Any pics of the GT3's available????
