EDIT: disregard above, you already know your serial #.
Have you tried the dealer with your VIN?? Or you can try this: http://www.renntech.org/forums/topic...adio-code-faq/

Did you try this?

Says your code is 8436
Or call Becker, or go to the dealer. Most dealers will do it for free.

On my way to whistler some twisty roads ahead and a hot blond in the passenger seat, staying at the Hilton , thanx to her Hilton points, then paragliding in pemberton BC tomorrow

I asked at RennTech but didn't get an answer, so I sprung for the paid code solution with a UK company ($14 and change). Punched in the code ('02 with Bose) and got a happy display with FM and all other modes fully functioning... except for one thing... silence. no sound at all out of the speakers.
My research says the '02/Bose combination means MOST aka fiberoptic connections.
I have a huge (and spendy) punch list for my new-to-me car and a $1300+ stereo upgrade is not in the cards. I may have to actually buy a Bose amp.:-(
I have always despised Bose (No highs? No lows? Must be Bose!) But I need my tunes.
P.S. My mechanic - who used to work at a dealership - tells me the dealers he works with no longer give out codes but refer customers to paid sites like the one I used.

If you have misplaced your radio card, this decoder may eliminate the need
to visit the porsche dealer or contact Becker [www.beckerautosound.com].
To find your serial number, you need to look on the back of the radio or
select the information mode on the radio.
CR-222: Press TP until the radio name appears. Then use the right tuning
**** to scroll to the serial number.
CR-210: Press tone, then hold both the '0' & '8' buttons until the radio
name appears. Then scroll to PR-VERSION using the tuning arrow.
Now you should be able to retrieve the serial number by selecting
the station preset numbers.
*** NOTE 1: If you enter the wrong code too many times, the radio will
display a 'WAIT' penalty. The more times you select the wrong
code, the longer the wait time [max 1 hour with engine on].
Sometimes, turning the key on and off will clear the wait.
*** NOTE 2: Upon entering the anti-theft code in the radio, you may need
to enter the code.
- CR/CDR-210, enter code by pushing the signal seek switch
- CDR-220, the code is automatically entered after the 4th digit
*** NOTE 3: These codes do not work for PCM Navigation or CDR-23 radio.
CDR-23 radio code is entered into the car with durametrics tool
