Guys, just an FYI...called LA Sleeve and was told that it would cost in the neighborhood of $1900 to re-sleeve all 6 cylinders (that's labor and parts). Add to that the shipping cost to and from. Was also told that new pistons are recommended and JE Pistons has a set for under $1000 that comes with rings and correct measurements. The existing pistons are almost always warped....rods can be re-used.

One more note: the people at LA Sleeve are phenomenal. The guy I spoke with would have spent hours with me on the phone explaining the finer nuances of engine rebuilding.

Thanks!

Also to clarify, at $1900 are we sending just the bare case or a short/long block?

My conversation with them was in regard to sending the 2 bare case halves only.

I am super pleased with the folks at Forsche-Land ! They did a great job rebuilding my motor and would highly recommend them!
Glad to hear that the car is doing well and is getting put to good use.

I've used LA Sleeve for Ducati cylinders. Great work, and excellent service.
