Any bets KK that will be dropping his Turbo motor in the first month of ownership to pin/weld the coolant pipes? [far more work/expense than an IMS bearing swap, BTW]
All kidding aside, if I was in the market I would totally be interested. Both because the car looks great but also because I suspect it is as mechanically sound as is possible.
IMO a good detail would really set that car off.
Might be my monitor, but the paintwork doesn't wow me.
Everything else wows me - the front bumper, the clean engine, the clean underside, on and on.
The story looks special, except for the paint. Easy detail job. Sorry if I'm seeing it wrong.
Another "I'd buy it" - though KK has taken plenty of crap (admittedly, much of it from me) for his sadistic maintenance habits, that makes this a 996 I'd snap up in a heartbeat if I didn't already have two toys in the garage.
Learning about the M96 engine, performing PM, and replacing parts.
Did you include a yearly mileage cap clause in the sales contract to the new owner by chance?
Mileage, maintenance, and JG DT40 clause of course! Now if I can just get Jakes opinion on what is the perfect oil for the TT. I get the impression he does not mess with the TT's much.
