Default 996 Speedsteer Clam Shell for Cabriolet

VOSSTEK is designing a speedster style clam shell for all 996 99-04 cabriolet. It is designed to be used on fair weather days (no rain days)
installations will take less than 5 minutes just open cab top slide and bolt down.

I like the look, but I suspect that will be a large item to move around and store. What about doing it in two pieces?

I am surprised nobody came up with something like that sooner.

I like the one for 997 that comes in 3 pieces at least if it starts raining you can put it in the car and put the top up.

I've never cared for the 911 speedster look (356 is a different story) or body kits in general. However, I think I like those rear fenders. Looks like rear tire might rub though?

DeLaVilla has had an aftermarket speedster clamshell available for a few years now for our 996 cabs. It looks pretty sharp (if one's into the speedster look). IIRC it retails for a few grand.

We will be posting better pictures this afternoon. The shell is not that heavy and very easily be moved it only weighs 11 pounds.
